If you have been legally resident in Ireland for five or more years, Long Term Residence may already be within your reach. After eight years of reckonable residence, Stamp 5, permission to remain in Ireland without any time limit, becomes available. Neither requires you to apply for citizenship.
We help with:
Long Term Residence Application
5 year renewable permission.
Stamp 5
Permission to remain without time limit.
Residence Eligibility Assessment
Understanding where you stand before you apply.
Most clients discover they qualify for one of these permissions only during a consultation. If you have been in Ireland for several years and have never looked into this, it is worth finding out.

Long Term Residence is a permission to remain in Ireland for five years, renewable, available after five years of legal residence. It does not require you to apply for citizenship.
Stamp 5 is permission to remain in Ireland without any time condition. It does not expire and does not need to be renewed. It becomes available after eight years of reckonable residence.
Long Term Residence allows eligible non-EEA nationals to continue living and working in Ireland under qualifying conditions. Irish citizenship is a separate legal status with additional rights, including eligibility for an Irish passport.
Not always, but in some situations it is a required or strongly recommended step. A consultation will tell you exactly where you stand.
